Who is it for?
Families on one or two incomes who want every debt written down, a plan for which to pay first, and a savings buffer started. It works for one person on their own too.
Is this financial advice?
No. It is general money education and a set of forms. It does not tell you what to invest in, and it cannot promise a payoff date. For advice on your situation, talk to a qualified adviser or a free debt charity.
Snowball or avalanche: which does it use?
Both are explained. Avalanche pays the highest interest rate first; snowball pays the smallest balance first. You choose, and number your Debt List in that order.
Can I type into it?
Yes. The forms have boxes you can click and type in, in PDF readers that handle forms, such as the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. Save a copy when you finish. Or print it and write by hand.
How big is the print?
Body text is 14.5 point. The pages are US Letter and print on A4.
Is it written for the US?
Mostly. It mentions 401(k) plans and FDIC-insured accounts, with a UK note on FSCS. The plan and forms work anywhere.
How do I get it?
